It's not what you did do, its what you didn't do. You didn't come off as funny. You didn't add anything to the discussion. And you certainly didn't do anything to deserve a response (although I obliged you against my better judgement.).
my point is that a woman who has to sing a song that she is a woman ("and powerful") is neither a real woman nor powerful.
Only people who are insecure sing about how powerful they are.
So, is knowing the benefits of life insurance and professing it to be a powerful financial tool being insecure? I say it's a minimum for being a student of the craft of advice. But go ahead and continue being snarky. I'm sure someone out there on these boards are jumping for joy that you posted something so negative.

I don't care what you think, this is funny stuff. GFN, you could learn something from Rick.

I do not think that GFN has a real high opinion of Life Insurance. For her it appears to be a necessary evil at least that is the impression I have but maybe I am wrong.

I just think that personifying life insurance is a little over the top. if someone did that for auto insurance or home insurance or even medical insurance, a medsupp, or even a long term care policy, you'd think they weren't exactly playing with a full deck. it just sounds a little too cultish to me. i'm sorry, xrac. i like many of your posts, but i think this one was a little too much.
It has been proven time and time again that there is a direct correlation between the level of your belief in what you do and how successful one is. Judging by the responses in this thread, I would guess xrac is extremely successful and GFN is fair to middling at best.

What in the world gave you the idea that i even try to sell life insurance? i didn't even sell my term policy to myself.

Duh!
I am SOOOOOO glad you said that!
No one should sell anyone anything that they don't understand. If you can't even sell yourself your own life insurance, it just shows that you don't understand AND that you won't be trying to mislead the public in selling ANY life insurance!

Whew!
not quite.
It wasn't worth my time to sell it to myself.
The $400 commission wasn't worth shopping around, getting appointed, blah blah blah.
My hubbie is a USAA member so i just got it from them right over the phone.
