Rick
I confirm.
As for the voice broadcasting. Its best to get permission from the State Attorney General, or some states will require you to register. Not a big deal.
BUt I would stay away from the term Medicare Plan. I will be hanging signs around town and specifically saying Medicare Supplements.
People dont know the difference between and Supp and an Advantage anyways.

Last time I looked... the laws regarding voice broadcasting to consumers were passed and enforced by the Fed.
Some states have piggyback laws passed in addition to the federal laws already in place, so it is a good idea to check with your states AG's office, but this does not exempt you from the Federal statutes.

What is going on here??
When was the last time you called a number you saw on a "nice plastic sign"?
Seniors may see your sign and even think about calling but unless they write the number down they won't remember it.
Let's assume that they do write it down, that creates another problem. Now they have to remember where they put the piece of paper. When they find the piece of paper here is most likely what it will say.
Plastic sign
555-123-4569
They will then wonder why they wrote the number down since they have no need for a "plastic sign" and throw it away. Or, if they need some they may call you to order plastic signs.
If you have any left over save them. You may be able to sell them to the people calling who want plastic signs.

I'm sorry.
Ramiz, I think the signs are a fabulous, fantastic, creative, innovative, cutting edge, state of the art and will draw so much business you are going to have to hire additional staff just to answer the calls you will be receiving.
I'm amazed that insurance agents have never thought of putting signs up advertising insurance before.

I swear I remember seeing something somewhere that using auto-dialers to solicit anything about medicare was against the law. I could be mistaken though as I have no idea where I saw it at.

Well you cant call via auto dialer or regular phone about Medicare advantage. BUt Med Supp is not as heavily regulated.

Im talking about calling on residential Opt-In Data , not necessarily cold calling just anyone.
From my understanding of the regulations, if we have permission to call, we will not have to worry about any kind of violation.
On top of using Opt-In Data, its also smart to be compliant with individual states, which we do.

I talked with somebody today that was using a dialer for Medicare Supplements. The original message was the "are you happy with your medicare". He believed that you could do this for supplements. Are there different laws regarding autodialers in each state? I know that several people on this site use dialers and I was curious about what makes a legal autodialer. I am considering this for final expense.

I don't think that was a good idea.
Well one solution would be just take the sign with you. So using Ramz' plan, that would be 500 appointments if they ALL were to call him.
