I need commission tracking software

Hello everyone! I am trying to find software that I can track my personal production, renewals, and sub-agent overrides. I've been tracking this manually through my Quicken software, but it's becoming unmanageable. I've tried GBS out of Colorado, but they are impossible to deal with. Does anyone have a system that works well, is user friendly, and has friendly customer support?

Most agency managers have tracking if you need to pay sub agents, etc.

If you are a single producer, cant you write something up in Excel?

I-Relay looks great, but from my understanding, there is no commission tracking feature.

I-Relay looks great and all.. however I still do not see anything there to track individual production(meaning the exact dollar amount I will be paid for as earned policies or advanced policies, the specific amounts I will be paid for over-rides, and the specific amounts that are due for renewals. I might be wrong, but maybe you misunderstood what I'm trying to find. Let me know if you find anything remotely close, that is easy to use. Thanks!

I haven't used the program yet, but I think I saw commission tracking in Your Insurance Office. Not sure how robust the tracking is though.

Hey I downloaded Your Insurance Office. It does not offer advanced commission tracking features. It is nice looking, and seems to be user friendly though for a basic crm.

YIO will show you what your 1st year commission is. If the renewal commission is a different percentage then it will not show the renewal.

What is the makeup of your agency? What lines do you sell? How many producers are you tracking for? What are your trying to accomplish with this software? Projecting Income, tracking real vs. anticipated commission?(Persistency)

Give us some info and we may be able to help.

Hey everyone, thanks for your help. I've found something that might work. VAM dB Free CRM Database Life Insurance .. Very reasonable on pricing, and completely customizable to your agency. If anyone has tried using this system, let me know.

Have you gotten anywhere with your commission tracking search? I would really like to know as I have looked forever for a company that offers the same services. We have been working with a software company for the past year building one out but it is taking forever. Let me know if you found anything you would recommend.

If you know how to work excel...then the best thing to do is to create a formula spreadsheet. I've setup one up that shows the following information month to month.

I input the monthly premium and months adv and it spits out the commission.
It shows what my remaining unpaid commission is if policy stays inforce.
What my average monthly premium is for the month
My total A.V or A.P is for the month
My Total commission for the month minus lead costs and more.

It'll basically do whatever you tell it to.

Really easy to make if you know how to use formulas in excel and even easier to use. Most of all its FREE.

Yeah, I have it in Excel now but it really starts getting out of control when you are dealing with mutliple carriers and a couple thousand clients. I was looking for alternatives to Excel.
