FYI: Also posted in the P&C forum, but I feel like it will get more views here.

I had a captive agency in Chicago with one of the major insurance companies. I left to start an independent firm about one year ago and the non-compete is just coming up! The book with the captive is 2.4 million in premium, 60% personal lines and 40% commercial. The book also has a lot of life policies that could be replaced to save the client money (the captive was not competitive).

We now write with all the major independents!

I am looking for an individual that will focus on prospecting and writing all the existing relationships (still not easy work).

The compensation will be 70% of the new business commissions and 70% of the renewal commissions. I will cover the E&O for the first 6 months.

Would anyone experienced be interested in speaking further?

My focus is on medium to larger commercial ($50k+ premium), medium to larger life cases ($2,400+ premium) and annuities ($100k+). I enjoy working with other Agents on the Life/Health side.

This is a unique opportunity I have available for a P&C focused individual that would also do a little Life.

Prospecting is the hardest part in this industry! I am making it just a little easier for the Agent, with the ability to prospect existing relationships and automation already in place...

The compensation is more then fair and am looking for a career partnership with the individual that ends up being the right fit.
