How to place a poster on ignore.

You have to click on their name in upper left hand corner of their post.

Go to view their public profile.

Under the heading of profile, the top area where it shows their name, you will find on the right hand side a sentence link to place them on your ignore list.

It will say "add blank to your ignore list"

Perhaps Sam could have Val place an ignore poster button below the posters name and post count.

Maybe that would stop a lot of the bickering this board has suffered lately.

It's a shame that we've come down to the point where we have to encourage users to put other users on ignore. It would be much better if individuals acted more like professionals.

I like the fact that Sam has allowed very open discussion, a lot of clowning around, but it's time to pull the reigns in a bit on the tasteless posts without having to instruct people to put others on ignore.

Just my $0.02 worth.

I did that for a while. Some were posting misleading and incorrect information and had their head up their butt, refusing to listen to reality.

What I found is this.

They continued to post erroneous information that was accepted as factual by rookies (and some veterans).

And, there was no rebuttal.

So I put those folks back in the "visible" spectrum and just changed the way I dealt with those issues.

And Dan, $0.02 is not enough.

I charge a nickel.

You must be trying to undercut me.

Hey, I just go for quantity, you go for quality.
If you want an answer, come to me, if they want the right answer, they'll have to go to you.
