I think it’s a great eye opener to how we can be better at what we do. It makes simple and perfect sense when we explore how it could be utilized in our careers.
If you could know your products better, shouldn’t you?
If you could help more people, shouldn’t you?
If you could learn more about underwriting, shouldn’t you?
If you could offer more products, shouldn’t you?
If you could learn more sales insights and techniques, shouldn’t you?
If you could follow up more, shouldn’t you?
If you could manage your time better, shouldn’t you?
If you could define your goals clearly and map out steps to achieve them, shouldn’t you?
If you could overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs, shouldn’t you?
There are obviously many more of theses questions that can spill into every aspect of our lives so I hope this gets you to think, and then act, instead of remaining and reacting.
Ha ha, actually you can do all of that except drive 140 mph, at least in the US. Now on the Autobahn the recommended speed is 81 but there aren't really any limits.

The answer is because of a lot of lazy people.
We all want a lot of money for a little bit of work. We all try to figure out how to work the least to make the most.
Yes, Earl Nightingale says you have to put in the wood to get the heat, most people wait in front of an empty fireplace and wonder why it's freezing.

I have lived in Detroit.... That's why I live in Albuquerque!!!
You new pic reminds me of something. That is a little protection when the rain does come. There are a lot of clients out there, that have enough protection for the storm that will come, but they will be wrong.
Maybe it's just a hand umbrella, lay off the pot will ya Mark!!

There are 2 directions in life, going up and going down. If you think you leveled off and on a plateau, you are actually on a slow progression down since you are not improving.

I'm not picking on him. I really have great respect for the guy. I love his post.
It just reminded me of how some clients think. Some clients think that a little umbrella is going to protect them when the hard rain comes. They think a little bit of coverage will take care of their big problem.
I was actually going to steal that picture and make an ad out of it. It just got my brain to thinking.
I know, it would be great to use a visual tool like that to get a point across, it was just the your post was worded struck me as off a bit.
