Aviva IUL and UL

The top IUL's for 20 year Net Cash Value accumulation and IRR (based on actual gains and expenses) were 1) North American Life, 2) Minnesota Life 3) Midland National Life 4) Allianz 5) Old Mutual (now F&G).... Surprised, well maybe not that surprised---that AVIVA was not in the top 10,,, they just have the best marketing I guess!

The NLG product is not geared for cash accumulation.

Also, I would put more weight into distributions and not as much in accumulation. Aviva is strong there with their cash accumulation product. Look for Allianz's new product to cut into that market share within the next year.

Simple answer:

Don't miss a payment. If you miss a term payment, you're in the same boat.


With Aviva's "catch up" provision (after the initial 5 policy years) this isn't always the case.
