Iul illustrations in nc limited to 5%

I HEARD THAT IUL ILLUSTRATIONS ARE GOING TO BE LIMITED BECAUSE SOME OTHER LIFE INS. CO. ARE COMPLAINING..AND Crying about losing sales.....any info on this ?

It will be limited using a formula based on historical performance for the current cap. It is not just some arbitrary number. If the product your looking at is going to limit illustrations to 5%, then it must have a very low cap. NA will be limited to 7.05% once the new regs kick in.

I'm glad they lowered them. Personally I still won't illustrate at the max.
