Diabetes Age 60

I am new to the health insurance side and I have a warm market client with diabetes - age 60 that needs/wants coverage.

My question is: Is it possible to offer him a policy with diabetes at age 60? It has been awhile since he had group insurance. What kind of monthly rate would he need to pay? What companies? Any thing else I need to know/consider is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Is theclient insulin dependent or just pills? How long have they had the diabetis? Under control? Had a diabetic comma or been hospitalized?

I write many people with diabetis and hbp shouldn't be a problem. For price it depends how much coverage they want. I'm assuming this is a final expense policy.

Edit; please disregard my post I had read new to life insurance.

Not knowing what specific diabetes control is..only one company I know (they might be others) that covers diabetics on good control... Aetna. Good pricing and lenient underwriting, but get ENTIRE background and pre-screen.

Thanks. I need to ask more questions. He did tell me he took insulin shots. No comas or hospitalization.
