Research: Lead Costs

Good afternoon, everybody.

I'm doing a bit of research lead metrics infographic. Essentially to show agents what they might be able to expect in terms of cost and return on various types of leads.

I know it can vary. I'm just gathering some anecdotal ballparks for an average.

If you feel more comfortable, you can always send me a message with the info.

I'm looking for your average or estimated
  1. Cost per lead
  2. Cost per acquisition
  3. Closing ratio

for the following types of individual health insurance leads:
    Shared
    Exclusive
    Live transfer
    Aged

Any help you can offer would be great.

    Thanks!

  1. You forgot the single most important lead, the one that has made most experienced agents successful:

    Referrals: $0 cost

Everything else isn't worth it given the low commissions and uncertainty

Of course not, and that's a very good point.

But this is for agents who are interested in buying leads, for whatever reason.
