UHC in TN

I talked to a gentleman this evening who received a letter from UHC telling him they were pulling out of his market. Lived in Chattanooga TN area.

Says he does not have an ACA plan. I have not read that UHC was pulling out of that market. Anyone have info on this?

I will bet a $1 that he owns an off marketplace A.C.A plan and doesn't know it.

My thought as well. I will find out more Monday. I wanted to see if I had missed something from UHC.

UHC is pulling out of the ACA compliant individual market (on or off) in TN as of 12-31-16 as far as I have been told.

Unless he has a grandfathered Golden Rule and they are leaving as well? Haven't heard about that yet.

I still have GA GR policyholders from before the war and getting commissions. No word on those being cancelled.
