I bought a couple of domains recently after a lot of searching. I am located in Kansas City, KS and I thought about buying a name with Kansas in it but I will be focusing a lot on Missouri so I decided against that. I got midwesthealthadvisor.com and healthquoterates.com. I don't have my site up yet, Norvax is working on that right now but I wanted to see your opinions on the domain names. Which one would you guys/gals use for your main site and why?

You want to keep it simple and easy to remember and spell.
Example, I own www.rosenthalfinancialservices.com but it is too long, hard to remember and some people can't spell very well. SO I made others domain names that will forward you back to my main site. Example www.realfastservice.com . People can remember it better.
I like your healthquoterates.com domain name better. I can remember it better. But I recommend also making some other easy domain names, and have it forward back to your website.
I own a ton of websites, and I always make easy links to foward back to my main site.

Thanks for the replies, I thought about state and then insurance related names but I'll be focusing on Kansas and Missouri both. I plan on using this site for my main email so I didn't want to have it seem like I am primarily Kansas or Missouri to alienate the other states customers I guess. I will take you up Chumps and send you a PM, thanks.
I agree Charpress, it is ridiculous how many squatters there are with domain names. missouriquotes.com is for sale right now.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about buying up some names that you think you might use for yourself in the future. This is the problem:
"Internet marketing firm Marchex Inc. has finalized a deal to pay a whopping $164.2 million for Name Development Ltd., which displays keyword advertising across a portfolio of more than 100,000 domains. The deal, along with the recent sale of a misspelled domain name for $112,000, offers evidence that mistyped URLs and other "accidental traffic" have become big business.
The pricetag on the sale of Name Development is more than the $155 million paid by SAVVIS Communications to acquire Cable & Wireless America, and nearly as much as the $176 million Freenet paid for the hosting operations of Germany's Tect AG. SAVVIS gained about 350K hostnames in the C&W deal, while Freenet acquired 2.2 million hostnames from Tect."
