Did anyone get the ING letter talking about many of the changes coming to their EIAs?
1.) The Minimum Guarantee will be changed (lowered) to 2% for the Secure Index 7 (as of 12/8)
2.) Trail Commissions on new biz will be discontinued (as of 12/8)
3.) Envoy Three sales will be discontinued (as of 12/8)
4.) Commissions will be paid to the agent of record only as of 1/09. Doesn't apply to ING-affiliated companies and distribution channels (including the ING Wholesale Distribution Channel).
ING states that the reasons are due to current market conditions and the 10-year Treasury being at historically low rates.
