I would call and ask for either the office manager (if a woman answered the phone) or the manager (if a man answered the phone). When I got the correct person on the phone who handles the company's insurance, I would always introduce myself and then lean into it by saying "I was just wondering when your company's commercial insurance is up for renewal.?" For some strange reason, it was and is highly effective, at least for me, for getting the x-date.
