I need some advices , I am new to this business , got laid off few month
ago my job is planner for manufacturing no sale related.
I want to get in this business but no experience, I saw the ad insurance agency for sale , he selling the P&C only no life:
1. Free training
2. A business that has been operating for 5 years .
3. 18 different carriers to work with .
4. We will send you to school.
5. You take over auto home flood commercial the first day .
6. Over 500 book of business that is your to start.
7. Income stream from the first day .
8. web site - phones-management system
9. 24 month support
10. All corporate papers of ownership .
what you dont get .
1.Life & health part of the business
2.financial statements 5 years
3.banking information
you are not buying our financial statements or our past book of business , you are buying
what is listed above. we will provide you with all the help you need to be a success.
you will keep all current clients with their income stream
price : $25000.00 with $7500.00 down 799 per month for 24 months.
So I need some advice from all experience agent of this forum.show me how to deal with ... and so on...

No experience in sales, no insurance business experience... I think you answered your own question.

Not to say you will not do well in this industry, but it might serve you to test your hand at the business as an agent for a period before making the commitment to purchase an entire agency.

I believe the learning curve is pretty steep, meaning its not extremely difficult to get started once the ball gets rolling, but you have to start somewhere.
