I help develop online continuing education courses, and we're currently evaluating our course delivery format, and whether the content should contain more "bells n whistles".

When it comes to regulation, there is only so much you can do to make the content interesting. So, here's the question...

When you look to complete an online CE course, do you care where or not there are activities in the course, drag-n-drop answers to review questions, animated diagrams, etc., or are you simply completing the course because you "have" to and you need to get your CE requirements out of the way?

Edit: I thought you were talking about the course preparing for the initial exam.

For CE: It should be as plain and simple as possible.

CE is just revenue generating for the states. Agents are going to go for the easiest and simplest CE they can find....

No flash. Just whatever it takes to meet the state requirements at a reasonalbe price and easy to operate to get through the courses.
