First Time CE Coming Up, Worth Getting CIC or Other Designation?

I currently work for a captive agency as a producer, and my first time having to complete CE requirements is coming up in a few months.

Is it worth going for the CIC or some other designation while obtaining the CE credits?

I understand in my current position it probably won't make much of a difference to clients, but I'm considering my future in the industry and wondering if getting these designations will help that. I've seen some open positions recently where they even require a CISR and CIC before hire.

I would have said go for a CIC/CRM class. Get the hours and make progress toward a valuable credential in the process.
