I did this a couple years ago through Occidental life, is there a carrier that is still offering this for free?

At LIMRA website you need to pay $25 for taking the optional exam, which gives you CE credit.

TIA.

The optional exam is exactly that - optional.

You take the Anti-money laundering exam through LIMRA because carriers require that you do. As you get appointed, you will see that the carrier will show up on your LIMRA AML portal. You'll then review the carrier's instructions, and you're done.

You don't have to pay anything for LIMRA's AML training.

If you are paying for AML, you are doing something wrong. The carrier is required to ensure you have AML training. They will either set you up with LIMRA or provide their own training.

Many will accept recent training from another vendor as a courtesy to you so you aren't doing yet another AML training when you just completed one.

One and done training for the base AML but you need to do refreshers as needed and also certain companies have their own stuff they want you to read.
You will need log in: user name (first 4 letters of last name and last 6 numbers of your SSN) and password for the LIMRA website (limra.com)
No cost to do this.
