Anybody Ever Use "Press 1" Leads?

You record a pre-recorded msg that says (for example) Hi my name is Joe and I sell rocking chairs. If you're interested press 1 or if not press 2. It's a prerecorded message that is broadcast over many numbers at a time similar to what the politicians do during campaigning. I simplified it for your explanation... hope this helps.

They're using a live intro. It's no big industry secret, they just use a live telemarketer to start the call, then play the message.

I do a rant all the time about politicians. If DNC is good for me it should be good for politicians. Personally telemarketers never bothered me as they at least where doing something that added to the tax base but political calls not so much they just lined the politicians pockets.
