If someone has a conviction.. misdeameanor for bar fight, when might that affect his license? before the state test? after the test? etc

how did it go for you? I have a friend with a misdeamonor , bar fight, that wants to become an agent.. at what point would his conviction come up? before he takes the state exam? after? thanks? might he get a license and not have carriers accept him?

It will definitely delay the process at best. However, even if you obtain the license, some carriers or marketing organizations may not accepting your contracting.
