Will a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge & misdemeanor instrument of crime hinder me from getting Florida and North Carolina non resident adjuster license. Have not been to court yet. I know for a fact the possession charge will be dropped but I need to apolyester for the licenses now.

To get the definitive answer you should contact the state's DOI...

If your case hasn't finished I doubt it matters at this point. You haven't been convicted yet. Misdemeanor certainly easier to deal with than felony.

"Instrument of crime" charge is going to be a much bigger deal than the pot charge. You should try to keep the pot charge and get the Instrument of Crime charge dropped.

However, no way are you getting licensed (or appointed with a carrier) until you go to court and resolve the case.

But "instrument of crime" does not sound good at all. Even if you get the license you still have to worry about getting appointed with the insurance carrier. They all run a full background check and have their own standards for approving agents to contract with them.
