Data Collection for Employee Performance Reviews

What are your thoughts on using Data Collection Software to evaluate employee performance on an ongoing basis, rather than having annual or semi-annual employee performance reviews? :biggrin:
 
Why would software prevent reviews? You should still do them.

In a small office, they usually aren't that meaningful, but its still a good time to sit down and make goals for the upcoming year. Its a chance to talk to an employee about how to get them better engaged. Its an opportunity for a manager to get true feedback from an employee on how the manager can improve.

To me, review avoidance is bad management.
