I don't remember how I heard of this, but I signed up some time ago. After they finally verified my licensing, my profile was approved.

If all you need/want is a basic website where you can talk a little bit about yourself, post a YouTube video, testimonials, and PDF files... you can have it all for FREE!

It's called the National Directory of Insurance (NDOI - not to be confused with the Nebraska Department of Insurance).

You can check out mine here: https://www.ndoi.com/davidkinderfinancial

There is absolutely no cost and I don't get anything for posting about this either.

You can sign up here: https://www.ndoi.com/agent/entrance

Are both of these sites considered SEO-friendly? I don't expect to get a huge bump, but I just want to make sure they are not considered spammy like most other directories.

Thanks.

I couldn't find anything specific to answer your question.

However, my site just went up today and when I did a "bing" search for my name, it's the 2nd listing. It hasn't shown up in a Google search yet. If it shows up on Bing, I bet it'll show up on Google in a few days.

Ok. Thanks.

OK. Thanks. I'll add mine this week.

Damn!

OK. Thanks. I'll add mine this week. It looks like a trustworthy site.

AW C'MON!!!

OK. Thanks. I'll add mine this week. It looks like a trustworthy site. Sheesh! Coming up with 100 characters is a real pain in the a**. Am I there yet? Yes. Finally! Good Bye!

I would have just said "ha!" but...

So instead, I'll say "too true".

DHK - I watched your video. THIS IS REALLY GOOD WORK YOU DID. This is an asset to you and I think this has so much potential.

Do you run this through a sales funnel through a website or FB ads into a landing page? I foresee this being a crucial element to automated high quality lead generation for you at a super super discount cost. I have nothing to gain from this, but I'd love to chat about ideas if you're interested since I'm familiar with what my friends in other industries are doing online for lead generation utilizing video.

I'm in Los Angeles, so same time zone with you.

Thank you for your kind words!

I kept my video very "low key" in how I was talking because I wanted to show that I'm more introspective than trying to do any kind of "hard sell". I do like that I did it all in less than 15 minutes though!

I'm not doing much of anything DIRECTLY 'online' to generate leads.
I've got my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/davidkinderfinancial
I've got my new website here: https://www.ndoi.com/davidkinderfinancial
I've got my LinkedIn profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidkinder

I've also finally got my free report links active for those who sign up for my newsletter lists.

I was on a webinar just yesterday with John Nemo of "LinkedIn Riches" and he had a lot of transferable content that I worked on all day yesterday to improve my LinkedIn profile. Here's his profile so you can check out his posts, etc. https://www.linkedin.com/in/hirejohnnemo

Everything I've done to this point has been just to enhance credibility and image. This way, if someone wanted to search for me, they'd see that I had plenty of content to review so I can be perceived as someone who is very knowledgeable.

I haven't done anything to be proactive online to generate leads, such as FB ads, using LinkedIn strategically, SEO, or a number of the different things out there. I've been focusing more on building my clientele locally to me and it's worked out very well so far!

Maybe by the summer time next year, I'd want to add more online marketing to my arsenal? We'll see. I'm just doing these things slowly but deliberately.

Great to hear DHK! Keep up the hustle! I understand where you stand. You've done the hardest part by creating the content that builds the credibility. Now, when you're ready in the future, I'd be happy to share what I've learned about automated marketing funnels that can help you continue to approach the people who read your content. So far, I believe you don't have a system that can automatically hit up those people that read your content to keep warming them up as a prospect... In essence, you're in the position of praying/hoping that the prospect take action to contact you.

Anyways, again, I just enjoy the stuff. Nothing in it for me :) We can chat whenever you want. Have a good one!
