Hello. Sunny skies for five straight days! Wow. We'll take it.

Here's my question. I'm writing a guest article for someone's blog (it's actually done) and he requested that I " save it as plain .txt attachment with the HTML formatting in tact."

He's allowing me to put one link in the article.

I wrote the article in Microsoft Word. Can someone tell me how I put it in the format he wants so I can email it to him.

Thanks.

@Chumps

If you have a blog you can try this:
  1. Copy your word doc
  2. Paste it into notepad (no need to save the document)
  3. Copy from the notepad document (this strips out all the formatting)
  4. Paste into a new blog post
  5. Add your link
  6. Copy from the source code of the preview (do not publish the post)
  7. Paste into notepad again
  8. Delete the body tag and everything above it. (The body tag starts with <body)
  9. Delete the closing body tag and everything below it (The closing body tag will look like this </body>
If you have a problem, just send me the document as an attachment. Be sure to let me know what text needs to become a hyperlink and what url(s) to use. I'll send you the file you need. PM me if you don't still have my email address.
