You're so right about that. I found out the hard way how fast Google will kick you to the curb if you stop posting.

On top of social media and blogging have your tried submitting your company information to local directories? City Search, Yelp, Manta, Brownbook etc..., a lot to most of these sites have free listings or paid (however free listings will work to drive traffic to your site). You can hire a SEO company to do this or simply take the time to register for these sites and fill out your company information to create a listing.

Give something away for free.....that's what I have noticed is a Marketing tool lately. "Take this survey and receive a free gift card to Home Depot. Then the prospects information is directed to your web page. This is just one example of how traffic is directed to your website.....A website is used in conjunction with other marketing processes.
