How to Fix Broken Studiopress Theme?

I did many internet searchs, found others have the same issue, yet it seemed mostly unresolved

I uploaded the Genesis framework- it went fine. Then uploaded the Enterprise child theme and get this:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Name Description enterprise Stylesheet is missing.





Anyone have a way to fix this? Studiopress doesn't have a contact phone #, just online tech email request form

did you go to the forums there, very valuable information for fixing themes.

I would uninstall the child theme, then go back to the email they originally sent you with the child theme link, drag that zip file to your desktop, and go back into WP and install child theme again, select file name and make sure you pick the zip file name, upload...if that doesnt work, they probably just sent you defective file.

I did have to uninstall the child theme, then re-install. the problem was even after I deleted all the contents, the empty folder remained.

after hours of trying to figure it out, I deleted my browsing history and it finally worked. gotta love computers
