Your question is so simple but the answer is complex. Websites and social media are connected and the more activity you create the more activity your website will get. You can spend a lot of money on SEO - search engine optimization by a professional and pay them a monthly fee to keep you on page one. Or you can create relevant content using key words on Google plus, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Blog and Linkedin. They will provide your site with back links and the more activity you get the higher you will rank organically or free on the left side of the page. The top 2 or 3 ads and the right ads are pay per click based on keyword advertising pay per click. I have used a lot of these in my business after I got out of the IAR and securities business. Now all I market is fixed life and index products.
