Introduction, huh?
I have been back office/agent support for small group health business for about 10 years.
The previous agency I worked for went out of business due to aging agents (the youngest in his early 60's) and no new business. They were all living off renewals, and that wasn't paying the office expenses, in the end.
I now work for another smaller, much younger agency and they are hungry for new business. They are primarily P&C, but the primary agent is looking to be a multi-lines, one-stop shop.
I, myself, will be taking my L&H test on Monday (May 8) with my P&C to follow shortly, thereafter.
