The New Guy Looking for Information

Hello
Just realized I have not introduced myself. New to the business and looking to gain as much knowledge and sales as possible. Will be going into the FE and Supplement world.
My background - have owned small boutiques in the NYC area, went down to Miami (currently residing) following the mortgage crowd and came across the world of insurance and am planning on staying here.
I have to say this forum and all those that are willing to help are AWESOME!!

Curious - why is Miami easier than NYC? NYC is more densely populated than Miami. Would like to hear your feedback.

The regulatory environment for insurance alone in New York would give me pause.
