Who Are the Players In Iowa?

Getting ready to enroll a couple in Iowa, and I need to find out who the major players are in that state.

They are family members of a client of mine.

Hi Bob, Wellmark BC/BS has most of the market share but Coventry has been pretty aggressive in premium and network. Honestly, that's pretty much it.

However, Wellmark does not offer plans on exchange and only Coventry and CoOpportunity Health have statewide coverage. There are a couple regional companies that I'm not contracted with. No complaints from my Coventry clients about service yet, but we'll see with the whole Aetna thing. Wellmark is pretty much everywhere and Coventry just expanded to include Mercy Hospitals as well as Unity Point.
