Hillary tried the weepy woman routine and got a few points for that but not enough. Now she has switched over to the "I'm a bitch and I'm in your face" routine with Obama.
I guess she has planned some genuine, spontaneous outrage to replace her planned spontaneous weepiness.

The reason Hillary is is going to be a pain to Obama now is she has nothing to lose and is simply gonna throw as much **** against the wall and hope something sticks.

The one that is going to pay for this bigtime in the long run is Bill Clinton. Her insiders say that his misdeeds cost her South Carolina and then a further loss of momentum. There is no being married to a man like that for her. Some things are forgiveable some are not. Of course it is Hillary that is torpedoeing Hillary all by herself but that is beside the point.
Incidently, I don't count Hillary out yet. She has lost the last 11 primaries straight so there is nothing but bad news, yet she is a tough bitch and there is something about the American liberal psyche that does not want to let go of her and they now this is her last hurrah in the short run anyway. I would not turn my back on her. No win in Texas and Ohio though and she joins Huckabee land. This next debate coming up is going to be a cocker. She is going to try to do some real damage and that is always risky but it is her last stand. Obama just needs to sit there and look pretty. Wasnt it just last week that she did the kumbaya routine with Obama? Now she is on the offense. This is your brain on drugs.
Now there's a new attack ad coming out against Hillary sponsored by a union and she's already going nuts over it before it's out.
And yes, the next debate will be with knives and cleavers for her. I think she's personally humiliated that she's being beaten.
She should have stayed married to her draft dodging, pot smoking philandering husband while still in office. However, the day he was out of office should have been the day he got served with divorce papers.
Granted, but your friends didn't run for president. I'm actually for an amendment where a president must have done some type of military service. After all, the prez is commander in chief.

That is absurd. I suppose you want a governor to have spent some time as a school teacher or a doctor since they run large school systems and are responsible for the admin of large medical benefit programs?
Being in the military gives one no added training or expertise for running the military than someone running a large business... because when you come down to it the military really IS a very large business.
Ex-carrear military people are so often right-wing kooks who can't wait to go bomb someone. Look at our current idiot-in-chief.
And Jimmy Carter was a real great president... his Iran rescue mission was terrific.
How did you like Lyndon Johnson? He the Vietnam war with brilliance.
And JFK's Bay of Pigs... now that was brilliant military strategy.
Ike? Yeah he was one of our greats.
How long did Nixon stay in Vietnam when everyone knew it was a lost cause?
You can make the case that the president that led the military the longest... and best... never served... FDR (except as a civilian Sec. of Navy).
It is not hard to understand why McCain expects to have us in Iraq and later Iran for 100 years.
In our whole history we've had one military leader as president whom everyone acknowledges was the best... Washington.

Al
Yea, FDR basically a Wilson clone.
Ike, once again the Eisenhower Highway System transformed our Nation if you have not noticed.
Bush, two wars won quickly. Rebuilding of Nations and the ME is something history will have to decide.
Unlike Teaching and Medicine, Military as in "Commander and Chief" is actually a "Constitutional Duty" of the President. While I would never support the idea that a person running for the Presidency should be required to have served, I don't view it as a negative either. In fact, one could argue quite sucessfully that a person that has been in the Military is the most conservative on the use of the Military.
Without war we'd be British....unless you think "pretty please" would have worked when we tried to split.
Without war we'd be a nation divided - probably need a passport to get to the southern states.
Without war Hitler absolutely would have controlled most of Europe. In fact, had the world attacked Hitler faster 6 million Jews wouldn't have lost their lives.
War is necessary. The "anti war" people were the same people who let Hitler steam roll his way through 4 counties before lifting a finger.
The same "anti war" people prevented us for getting involved in WWII until Pearl Harbor was attacked.
Now we have the "anti war" people for Iraq. Maybe they if they had lost someone in the towers they'd have a different opinion.
First they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me.
Not sure if I get your point? Are you suggesting that without FDR we would of failed and been conquered?
My point is that FDR was a great leader and in my book one of the greatest presidents we have ever had. I don't understand your remark about him having been a Wilson clone. FDR was a charismatic leader with revolutionary ideas to help this country through its worst depression ever (WPA, CCC, SS, etc.). He had the propensity to pick great military leaders, viz., marshall, Eisenhower, Bradley, Patton, Clark, Nimitz, Halsey, MacArthur to lead the military during WWII. Also, his foresight to establish relations with Winston Churchill and implement the Lend-Lease Program with Britian that saved the British until we entered WWII. It bought us some time. I am not saying that we would not have been victorious if there had been another president in the White House. Nobody can honestly speculate on that matter. But thank God Roosevelt was the right man for that time. Had Hoover been relected, I feel certain the country would have been in the dumps. I may not agree 100% with everything FDR did, but you cannot honestly denigrate his importance to our country even though he was a Democrat. I know that many Republics have attempted to demonize him. So, there you have my opinion.

FDR grew up under Wilson as in being the Assistant Secretary of the Navy under Wilson. Shared many of the same political ideas of Wilson's. In fact most that study FDR agrees that he was very much influenced by Wilson and that mindset of the time. I would suggest the whole native Japanese debacle was a "Wilson" effect upon FDR and many at that time.

All these people were already in place at the time of WWII came knocking. Outside of the story of Ike I really can not see any specific that one would give to FDR? I believe the story of Ike was that Marshall spear headed the idea of him being the "Supreme Commander" not FDR.
“Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself”, can you tell me what this was in reference to?
Better check the entire speech. It was one of his "fireside chats" and as as I recall listening to it, it had to do with the state of the ecomomy. That's what you call first-hand history.
BTW, what was so terrible about Wilson other than he was a Democrat? His wife did a pretty good job of running things after his stroke. You will not give a Democrat a break. Anyway, FDR was the commander-in-chief and he still had the final word on who was who in his command---much like that clown we now have in the White House.
