Hey, I don't mean to be a spoil sport, but just so you know, every presupposition this guy raises is false, no wonder his conclusions are retarded. Check it out line by line if you're REALLY interested (you're probably not). This guy's sorta like a Michael Moore regarding the bible (actually worse). I know you probably don't really agree with him, do you?
You stated in another thread that you would be happy to have a respectful, honest "argument". I see nothing respectful about your words, nor do I see a person who is open-minded enough to have such an "argument".
You mock a persons belief and the fact that some do believe that God still heals people. I've seen doctors dumbfounded by what took place in a persons body. It sure wasn't science that removed a tumor or unclogged arteries that were 95% blocked. You can doubt all you want, but you can't take away what someone believes God has done for them. It doesn't mean Christians don't believe in doctors. There were doctors in biblical times. It just means they believe, ultimately, that their fate is determined by someone greater than any person or doctor. You mock something you don't understand. That's human nature. Your true colors really shine.
You say you live a moral life. How about defining morality for us?
Fact: There are no records of amputees miraculously regenerating limbs - ever. This is not outside the realm of biology, as many animal species have the ability and humans even have it temporary when they are in a fetal state of development. So if there is a God and he routinely performs miraculous healings - why not regenerating limbs? The conclusion one must draw is God can't, or simply won't, heal amputees; or there is no God. I suppose finding the answer to why humans have never regenerated limbs really boils down to if you can A.) accept God's power is limited, which would be an oxymoron, B.) believe God, for whatever reason, finds amputees too repugnant to help, while he seems to happily cure other maladies at random or on whims, or C.) there simply is no God. Perhaps heath miracles may be related to the fact that no two humans are biologically EXACTLY ALIKE. What kills one person, may not necessarily kill another due to a freak mutation in their genetic structure. So while person A dies of cancer, person B may have the same cancer recess for no reason other than their body was built to handle the cancer cells differently than person A. There are many factors, many variables, like differences in diets, age, ethnicity, etc that would explain why person B recovered. Mental states also play a part -- this is where faith may actually come in handy. A person probably has a better chance of battling a serious illness if they believe they are being assisted from powers beyond their understanding. This is called "hope" and it takes a variety of forms - one doesn't necessarily have to believe in God to have hope. If someone feels strongly that they have more to live for, that could be enough. It is a proven scientific fact that our states of mind effect our health.
As my wife said...I would rather believe in something and be correct then not believe in something and be wrong.

Smoke some pot and everything seems funny. Sorry Joe, God did offer some guidance but apparently the majority of humans decided to sacrifice their infants to other gods and follow every lustful and wicked scheme possible. Is it funny to make fun of retarded people. Oh yeah that's a hoot. He is stoned off his butt if ya can't tell. Anyway the story has been glamourized and simplified in art and such. It said he took all animals of their kind which means the ones that were in that region necessary for re-populating the earth. He could have taken babies of every kind of animal and easily have fit them. Anyway with God all things are possible. The reason most people don't want to pursue God is that it might require a change from self-centeredness and willful disobedience.
Have ever seen Iceland? Or China? Do you believe they exist? Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't so!
Except you can prove they exist. The only "proof" of god is that you believe.
God only exists because people believe there is a god, and in some cases, many gods. If there were no people, there would be no god - not the other way around.
People used to believe the world was flat. Doesn't make it so. I might believe I'm a great looking example of mankind. Certainly doesn't mean a thing.
If you mean the guy from your bible, he might have existed. Probably was a good guy. Son of god? Of course not. The only person who wanted to accept that was Joseph. Better the "son of god story" than "my wife cheated on me with the butcher."

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the Gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written "the righteous will live by faith." Romans 1:16-18...Oh the depth of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgements, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Who has ever given to God that God should repay him? For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen." Romans 11:33-36
It is absurd to think that God needs to prove his existence to anyone. You believe the world is round because you've read it in a text book and seen pictures of space exploration ect. Did you actually personally do an experiment to prove it like build a rocket ship and fly into space or calculate the movement of planets and stars? I haven't, but I take at face value the multitude of articles I've read on it. There is an element of faith for everything we consider reality. The reason I believe is because of the profound knowledged that was expressed through the ancients who knew little or nothing about science yet wrote down scripture inspired by their creator and miraculously it was preserved throughout history.
"The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
Night after night they make him known
They speak without a sound or a word;
Their voice is never heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
Their words to the ends of the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun." Psalm 19:1-4
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities__his eternal power and divine nature__have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20
"It should be observed here that the scientific method, as we know it today, began in the sixteenth century among people who were Christians. They broke with the Greek polytheistic concepts that viewed the universe as capricious and irregular and therefore not capable of systematic study. They then reasoned that the universe must be orderly and worthy of investigation because it was the work of an intelligent Creator. In pursuing scientific research they were convinced that they were thinking God's thoughts after him." Paul Little
I do not believe that unicorns exist, but I do not go around making websites or writing books about it.
Did Jesus exist? Yes. Historically it is proven he was on Earth. Was he the son of God? That is for you to decide.
