Uhhh???.......Is this the "Chumps from Oxford" version or the King James Version, etc...Are you sure your ref the correct verse?
GO get a Bible.......and find Psalms 9:16. Does it actually read as you say? Or does it read otherwise??
Funny but actually yes, God/Jesus do have opinions about our money. There are 3,350 references to money and invest directly from The Bible!
Too many to mention here.
IE: "Steady plodding brings prosperity" Proverbs 21:5
Apply that to your EIA's.....
Another....
"Divide your portions to seven, even eight for you do not know what misfortunes may occur on the earth" Ecclesiastes 11:2

I think Allianz has an EIA based on the idea that "whatsoever ye shall sow, I reap."
As an athiest, what happens to you when you die?
Not being facetious I'm just curious about your "Honest" perspective.
When you die, you're dead a real long time. This is it. There is nothing more.
It would be nice if that wasn't true, but it is. Death ends your life. The only thing that happens when you die is people have memories of you. If that's life after death, then that's all I can hope for.

Ok Thanks. I respect your thoughts. All I can hope is that I get to see you in Heaven.
Do you speak for all atheists or just yourself?

Yes...it actually says that. Here's another two of my favorites:
From Revelations 5:8 Where there is man, there can be no peace, for religion is the crutch of all mankind.
From John 11:7 Don't go to the Forbidden Zone Taylor. You may not like what you find.

Goodness.....You've got quite a Bible there dont you? Good luck with that "CHUMPS from OXFORD" version. Careful who you spread it to now....Jesus is watching you....
[quote=Greensky; I would never believe I'm so important that I could speak for anyone but myself.
However, since atheists do not believe in god, it's a pretty good bet atheists don't believe in heaven or hell.
"When you're dead, as far as you are concerned, there is nothing".
As far as "who" is concerned Rick? Me? Or you?

While I don't quite understand your question about "who" my belief is that when anyone dies, they are dead. No Valhallah, No Heaven, just dead. Do not pass go. You're gone.
Using faith is not proof of anything. People can believe what they want. They want to believe in the Easter Bunny, great! They want to believe in god, great!
No one has ever been able to prove the existance of any god, much less THEIR god. They just believe. I need more. I'm a realist.

"Realist" OK...I get that. My best friend is a realist and I am Ok with that.
Food for thought....
100 years ago (1907) a cell phone was not a reality. But today it is a reality. Is this the Realist mentality you are talking about? Or something else? Where do we draw the line at "reality" is it temporal or potential?
The end of time will proove.
Anyway friend.....As far as I am concerned you are a good man. I hope you feel the same about me. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate...
I'm going for a cocktail now. Best regards, CHAS.R
My son believes in all his heart that there's a Santa Clause. So is there? You know what happens when you die? Nothing. You die. It's the ultimate act of vanity for humans to think they'll somehow live on forever. It's an unwillingness to accept finality. Oh....so there are just two places? You either burn in hell forever or go to Heaven? Now that's something I couldn't even get my son to believe. Santa Clause comes off as more believable then that.

Santa never gave his life to save humanity from hell. But he gave the coolest toys...
