As I stated, I am not here to discuss that....period.. so please stay on the topic of the title of this thread

If someone has suggestions concerning carriers, fire away....and please keep your opinion of my person to yourself.

If you wish we can start another thread entitled ethics...and you may post all you wish about ethics in that one.

I am not a moderator, however, I have felt that we were already past the "flaming"/moderation stage... especially in the personal attack on Tristan...(I don't even know this person)

The ONLY reason I gave any info about myself, and my situation is so someone would not be sending lists of captive companies...not to invite opinions...so past this post, I will not respond to any further chatter other than about the title of this thread.

Just because someone chooses to associate with people who are unethical does not necessarily mean that individual should be painted with the same brush. Personally, I would never do business with someone who has a reputation of cheating others, but that is my choice.

Thanks Bob! I appreciate it! If you give me a chance, I think you'll find that I'm not such a bad guy. On occasions, I can even be intelligent, but don't let it get around - it might ruin my reputation.

I think you guys are crazy Gitarpik has the right idea with the ole BTW approach.
I dont know if i should tell every1 this on an open forum but i am a police officer and a volunteer fire man and i do the old "by the way" after every police report for car accident's, muggings and shootings basicly anything that gives some1 a good scare i find that when they are shaken up thats the best time to give em my business card to by more some life insurance (i'm always sure to give em good wink to let them know this is on the DL).
Whenever theres a small fire or a smoke detector problem perfect time to up the old homeowners policy.
**Oh yea By the way I also have a small home security business ie alarms and home monitering.
I must tell you business is a booming, so go ahead gitarpikk dont listen to them, you sound like a real go-getter.

To each his own! If you think you can make it work, go for it. Perception will become reality if you believe there is a conflict. I see the financial industry as being very close to the insurance industry, so I don't think it's that big of a deal. If you present yourself as a professional looking to assist them for their finances and insurance, I think this is worth a shot! No pun intended from the cop comment
