Downs Syndrome ?

I spoke to a lady today that would like to purchase life insurance on her 27 year old, Downs Syndrome affected daughter.

What are my choices? I know that she could get a graded benefit whole life policy, but are there other options for this lady?

Actually don't know if you'd get anyone to underwrite a policy for a down's person. People with downs normally don't live past 55 or so.

Yes. I imagine the parent is the primary care giver right now. That person needs a permanent death benefit in a trust for that child.

Funeral Preneed is a good choice for the daughter. They are usually on Medicaid so you want it to be exempt. Most of them will give her 1st day coverage.
