Fraud on Life Insurance Application Involving Income/not Health

There is a huge difference between "seems fraudulent" and "is fraudulent".

Sounds like you're super emotionally involved and grabbing at some straws. Like VolAgent said, the company wouldn't have paid out a multi-million dollar claim without properly investigating it; just doesn't happen.

I know someone who lied on the app about income and got 750k of coverage. He died 8 months later and the company contested based on lieing on income. The company gave in and paid the claim.insurance co's rarely win in court

Fraud is a hard thing to prove. If he had someone else do the medical exam and get approved that would be easy to prove as fraud. Putting down an incorrect income hardly qualifies as fraud. Insurance company has the burden to prove intent to fraud. There is also no law saying you can't get more than 8 times your income. The amount of life insurance has to be reasonable and it has to be acceptable to their reinsurance.
