I am looking for advice on a good fit for a life and annuity producer that doesn't need much hand holding or leads or any of the other common hang ups when looking for an FMO or GA. I would like to start with competitive commission rates and have access to multiple carriers. I am starting a new role with an P&C agency in Ohio as the Life specialist as well as being a full time commercial producer. The agency is slammed busy and needs the help with the current workload. In the short term there is incidental life to be written but it is not actively being sought out. Long term I will become a partner and build and over see the life division. I am seeking an FMO or GA that can assist in that capacity. Just in the last week I have been running life quotes for 4-6 cases that were initiated by the customers. As of now the only life companies they offer are the life divisions of their P&C carriers. This is an agency that is going to be focused on commercial accounts going forward and I will certainly be dealing with large cases in the future as I target the business owners that we are dealing with regularly. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
