HELP! I have a client that I can't seem to find a carrier to work with. We are looking for a small policy to cover final expenses.

My client is 44 with Marfans Syndrom and at age 19 had a valve replaced in her heart. Under Dr.s care and has had no major issues since.

Spoke with her DR. and he sees no signs of declining health.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff

The worst she can do is something like National Guardian Life guaranteed issue. $25k is $100/mo. Maybe simplified issue WL or a UL. Probably end up being graded DB or highly rated level DB UL. Have you shopped it around?

This is one of those few situations where I'd probably just suggest they purchase a GI policy from MoO's mutualdirect.com -- in your prospect's case, she'd have to wait until she turns 45 but would then qualify for $25,000 of whole life at $66/month.

I don't really do guaranteed issue stuff anymore but I haven't seen anything that can beat Mutual Direct rates. No commission, but if there's no other option... you'll feel good having helped her, and you can make her give you a bunch of referrals!
