What was the outcome of criminal proceedings?
I imagine your client didn't even get to their first trial when 2nd dui occurred, right?
Does your client still drink?
Any circumstances surrounding client that can help address the drinking??? Stress, divorce, death in family, etc..??
Attending AA?

Whew, 2 in only a couple of months? I'm guessing the client hasn't even resolved these in court yet, which will make it very tough to write. If he's possibly looking at jail time no way he'll get coverage. Twice in such a short period of time indicate to the insurers that he has no concern for his own health (let alone others), hence the declines.

Also, you can always write guaranteed-issue product, either whole life or accident-only. Just not $750k of it though.

Have you tried Pru or Lincoln Benefit? I have had luck with both for clients with multiple DUIs. Pru table 4, LBL table 5 if my memory serves me.

A cover letter is very important. AA, counseling, found religion etc.
Also there are several SI term plans that may work.
