I am new to the game and I aspire to be an independent agent. I live in the state of Florida and I currently have a Life & Annuities License. Seeking advice on how to get appointed.

Welcome to the team! Your big decision now is to find a wholesaler that will give you everything you need to sell and sell and sell. Through them you will get appointed to whatever companies are best for your clients.

To keep you on a selling track the wholesaler should provide you with underwriters and case managers. This way a lot of the field underwriting and paperwork requirements will be handled by specialists. You will not have to bog yourself down with all the detail work that can keep you away from dealing with your clientele.
