Typically limited to 10-15 Year term at that age.
As VOL said, the majority of carriers offer Term at that age..... Health will play a major factor on whom you choose also.

As The Skipper and Vol said there are several. Add in dialed down UL and it expands it further.

What state are you in?
My state doesn't allow for term insurance sales past age 70. Gul becomes the next best thing.
Check with your state for any limits for sales.

On older ages I have seen where a GUL was lower cost than term.

Side note: WA sure seem to be protecting their citizens right out of coverage options.

Genworth, Cincinnati Life, ONL Protective is higher short term but kicks butt after yr 11 on a 10 year. Then of course a dialed down UL can really look good as well.

Oh, and sending in that Genworth paper app for $50,000 is called tuition.
Midland term or their EGUL at min premium. Then you also the the LTC benefit for free and it acts like a WOP if he qualifies. Has to take a small amount as benefit but no premiums any longer.
