Who Has Great Term Rates with ROP Option

I understand but if you did not invest the difference (like most people didn't) you would be better of with an 0% return on an ROP because at least you would have the premium dollars returned (assuming you lived). I am not disagreeing with sman I am just stating reality versus theory.

Thanks for all the replies!! Now to show how green I really am - what is Rdpdup?

----------

Guess I should use the search box first- reduced paid up option.

Now I'll search that to see what I find :)

Example of one I did recently.

$1,000,000.00 30 ROPTerm. Cincinnati Life.
@$159.mo
@ age 62 he has a $127,000.00 Paid up policy.

Demographic.
Make 32
Married no children
Teaches at an up scale central coast school.
Very high home priced
Referral, Bought a 20yr ROPTerm plan, from me, on his father a few years ago.

Referred a friend and his wife for same plan also.

Not all Cincinnati. Did another one a month or so back that Cincinnati rated standard smoker for admitted occasional MJ edibles. I can not remember if we went to Pru or AIG and still got the Rdpdup at the end.

Demographic:
Age 45 non smoker
New home
Bay Area Charge RN
+$ 100,000.00 annual income
$1,000,000.00 30 yr ROPTerm
Rewrite from an older term plan I wrote that was from an orphan referral.
Referred another nurse to me.

SI ROPTerm - I have written several United Home as well. Especially against FE. Very easy.

Does anyone else have another SI ROP carrier that has a Reduced Paid option? I would like another option.

Not America Amicable please.

Thank you,

Lee

Edit: I used to sell the ROP when the difference in premium was less. ROPTerm was priced much better 10 years ago. Today I sell the rdpdup benefit, if it makes sense to the client. Many times the the rdpdup option is close to planned retirement age. Or mortgage pay off.

On the SI ROPTerm it is sometimes tied to getting the kids grown and on their own.

Benefits not price.

The premium is not the problem, The premium is the solution. Ben Feldman, I think.
