Once again, I define whole life as a product that is in force for the "whole" of a person's "life". Where do you think the term "whole life" came from?
When I sold whole life (back in the stone age) I never pushed the notion that you bought it so you could get cash back at 65. I sold it to deliver a death benefit when someone died, not if. Most other agents seemed to be selling it as a great little savings plan.
While I have many critics in the insurance industry, I don't seem to get quite the same level of criticism from those outside the industry. Why would that be?
