A little publicity can help. This has been out one day and I've received two calls... one of whom I'm 99% sure I will close.

This cost me nothing but the fifteen minutes it took me to write. And getting the 'invitation' to speak took less than that!

Most small weekly papers will print just about anything you send them!

Just a thought.

About 15 years ago I wanted to start a publishing company. I was given advice to use the most British or Anglo sounding names I could that were close to the beginning of the alphabet. So I came up with Adams-Blake for Henry and William. People were able to remember it. So I kept it and named all my companies using it... and later incorporated Adams-Blake Company, Inc. for our www.jaya123.com web service... liability reasons. I may move the insurance agency under the corp umbrella, but I'm not sure. Having a corp is a major PITA. That's about it. No big mystery.

I'm going to do the same thing with my weekly paper. If you don't ask for any money they will be happy to print your material. Just make sure you don't do a hard sell. You are not writing advertising copy here.

And you'd be surprised what can come of a few choice words. Several years ago I wrote a letter to some folks that went around the world on the net and raised just over $200,000. It's true. You can check it out.

I downloaded that newspaper article, but only the top half of your picture showed up. You certainly look familiar----I think I saw the complete picture on an FBI poster at the Post Office.

One of my clients is a local newspaper. I've had them for years and only recently asked if they'd be interested in having me submit articles. Duh! Why didn't I think of this sooner?!?

Now, what should I write about...
