Another one bites the dust. Not a major LTC player, but just more consolidation.

If memory serves me correctly, they had purchased a LTC line of business/product from another carrier (State Life?), brought over the team with it, tweaked it and rebranded it under Assurity logo, and have been selling it for more than several years now. One of the few players with a 80% return of premium rider that you did not have to die to collect. Not a bad little product with an A- rating attached.

I only sold their DI/CI though.
