Commission Rates in Michigan?

I noticed in another post someone mentioned MI as having unusual laws regarding LTC compensation. Does anyone know what the standard commission rates are for this state?

There are not standard rates per say, each carrier is different. The unique thing with respect to Michigan commissions is a level commission for the first three years for policyholders over age 65. For example if you were getting 65% first year, 10% years 2-10 and 3% years 11+ for under age 65 for those over 65 you would might get 35% years 1-3 6% years 4-10 and 1% years 11+.
