Looking for Access Though Independent Agency

Hello all,

Nice forum.

I'm newly licensed as a P and C agent and would like to find an independent agency that I can work with.

I'm based in Southern California in the Huntington Beach area. I already have a lead source and would like to cross sell P/C to my personal line type clients.

I have looked at Superior Access and as a last resort I will contract with them. I have 1million/1million P and C E and O coverage in place and I have an office (not my home) in HB.

I've talked to the Marketing Director of Smart Choice in our state and I'm leaning towards signing up with them. Are there any agents here who were previously (or currently) under the Smart Choice Agents Program that can give me a feedback, good or bad?

It takes a while for the appointment process; other than that I think they are good so far for a start up.. If you have business you are looking to market right away you will be better of with insurance noodle..

I'm in San Diego and I've also been searching for local independent agencies. Some of the ones I've found so far:

Sun Coast
Cabrillo General
Robert Moreno Insurance Services
Abram Interstate

Abram is good if you have agency and E&O. Arrowhead works with GA's not agents.Find a local independent agency , so you can access their markets.If you want to write commercials I have couple of markets for restaurants and work comp that may be helpfull.email me at moakhavi@gmail.com

I'm in Southern California, but our agency is licensed in over 25 states. If someone here is licensed and looking to work with an indepdent agency, we are currently looking for more agents.
