Looking for Commission Advance Opportunities..

Hey guys, I am currently appointed with Humana, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Vista. and a couple others that I no longer write. I write them about evenly except for United Healthcare. I do anywhere from 10 to 15 apps a month and each month gets better. I have built up a monthly residual and am looking to go advance with a couple carriers to see some bigger checks.

I do right by all of my clients and have only lost clients do to someone not being able to afford the premium any longer. This makes me feel a little comfortable with knowing that chargebacks will not be much of an issue as my clients get what is best for them, bottom line. I started out advanced with US HEALTH but wanted to do what was right and get with the better carriers to make my life easier. I do however miss those checks!!

Again I am looking to go advance with maybe one or two of the carriers I mentioned. If anyone can help me out please let me know. THANKS!

If you are doing 10-15 now and each month gets better, what is the point? If you are on your own and earning 20% or so, after awhile you will be set if you keep it up. How much are your monthly expenses, etc?

SRQ Willie, My monthly expenses are pretty low as I sell strictly over the phone and internet. I'd say around $500 a month. I agree w/ you in regards to being set with as earned if I keep this pace up, Im just looking to get some bigger checks coming in so my options will open up in regards to investments. I am not looking to go advance with all of my carriers as I feel the as earned route is a safer play.

what states do you want to work in for an advance and leads???

DC,

Once you have gone direct with United and Humana it's almost impossible (99.9999999%) to go through a GA after you have submitted any business. United you have to go 3 months without production to switch. Humana you can't at all.

I can help with Aetna, Assurant, and IAC for advances.

PEELERINSURANCE are you a knucklehead? What do you think the difference will be for advanced guys or as earned guys if a reform happens? You're only advanced typically 6 to 9 months then as earned.

If you have 1200 policies in the book and lose half of them for whatever reason you have 600 policies either way.

How is your business? What percent are you getting as earned? What percent advance are you looking for?

Jehargro, My business is steady and ALWAYS stays on the books. Each month has gotten a little better than the previous. Right now I am doing at least ten apps a month and sometimes closer to 15.

I am as earned with all of my carriers right now and have built an ok monthly income. (Humana, UHC, Cigna, Aetna, Vista). I am only looking to possibly go advanced with one, preferably Cigna or Humana. I say possibly as I have gone advanced before with another carrier and am weary of any interest charges, etc. that may make it not worth the change. I am just looking for bigger checks while I build my as earned income.
