Looking to sell only life insurance

I would love to sell both life and health but having problems passing the state part of the exam to get them. I only have one more try this year to pass it.

So if any one on here knows of companies that would allow me to sell life ins. for now as an independent agent and also does not require me to have to get E&O insurance before selling for them.....let me know how I can get a appointed with them. And also if they might supply free leads. Someone on here told me of Forethought Life and I called and they are sending the paperwork so I can get started w/ them. Just would like to know of other companies like them.

If you're not interested in properly insuring yourself, and you are having trouble putting the basics of the business together in your head (getting licensed,) can you articulate why you are compelled to be in this business? I'll bet your going in the wrong direction and for the wrong reasons.

I agree with Steve. Based upon your post I think you probably are trying to do this for the wrong reasons. If you really want to be in this business your best chance of success would be to hook up with a captive company that will help you with licensing, training, and insurance. I would think in terms of Combined, American General, or Western Southern.
