I am in the ongoing process of attempting to purchase an independent insurance agency. I have been in the business over the past 15 years but sold a couple of years ago to move to a different area of my state Non-Coastal) looking to expand my business portfolio and to acquire another agency. That was 2007. I am very frustrated at this process. I have preformed my own email/mail/calling campaigns, hired business brokers and to date I am empty handed. While I have had a bit of luck, I have never had the pleasure of executing a signed LOI. Does anyone know ANY broker who is worth their salt and can get the job done? I have looked so far in my own home state and a neighboring state with no luck.
